I might add: make a partner out of your local independent bookstore. Offer readings, courses, talks, etc. in their store and promote the events in your local paper. Gets traffic in their door, and gets you more points for speaking. Give bonus free stuff to attendees. Be sure to videotape your talks and classes for future use.</description>
