All of our packages include 5 hours of phone support, beautiful, fully compatible code (what this means: your website will look good under the hood, too), and an eye towards search-engine friendly design (believe it or not, the search engines care about what your site looks like). Our designs are always custom–we don’t use templates–and include all graphic elements from the header to the footer. We’re NOT illustrators, and quotes never include custom illustration. But we’ve worked with lots of fantastic illustrators and can manage that part of your project.
Unlike other designers, our process starts without a design questionnaire. We don’t really care what sites you like, or whether you prefer buttons or drop down menus. After all, you’re not the design expert. Rather, our process keeps you firmly in the driver’s seat when it comes to YOUR business, and we won’t ask you to make decisions about how things look, work, or feel. Rather, we’ll ask you questions about your market, your Tribe, and your process, so that we can make sure your design captures what makes you awesome.
All design processes include wire frames (we don’t usually show these to you, but what they do is help us keep your design organized from top to bottom and help us ensure your site has a structure that supports your Tribe), navigation recommendations, and one final design. Unlike some design firms, we don’t show you multiple mockups–we think that’s confusing and a waste of your time. Rather, by uncovering your Signature Star Spotlight Style, we’re able to build a design that fits your unique way of working with clients, making your site act like a powerful magnet to pull the right clients on board (and repel the wrong ones!).
The design process typically takes about 6 weeks and we currently have a 4 week waiting list.

Custom WordPress Website
Your investment includes installation of WordPress, registration of the domain name of your choice, and one year of free hosting.
Your design will be 100% custom and flat-out gorgeous. It’ll work great, bring in the search engine traffic, and be fully compatible in Firefox, Internet Explorer and Safari on both PCs and Macs.
But that’s the boring technical stuff. When you hire Thrive Your Tribe to build your WordPress design, you’re getting a partner in your success. We’ll write your home page, set up your subscribe form so that your tribe clamors to sign up, and leverage every ounce of our expertise to get you a website that absolutely, positively will grow your business.
This package includes all the graphics you need except your company logo and photos (of you, perhaps) which you’ll need to provide. If you have company fonts, we’ll use those; if you don’t, we’re delighted to pick something out for you that perfectly matches your identity.
Plus, we’ll throw you a launch party! That’s right, when your project is complete, you’ll receive a Website Launch Party in the mail. It includes a press release you can send to your local media, a present just for you, and other necessary party gear so you can celebrate the introduction of your website to the world.
Solid Gold Website
When you’re a true rock star in your industry (or want to be), you want the best. And that’s what this package includes. You’ll visit Jessica Albon in beautiful North Carolina where you’ll stay at a gorgeous hotel. You and Jessica will spend the week together on the following tasks:
- Professional portraits. If you hate having your photo taken, don’t worry! This session will be fun and will bring out your best.
- Writing the copy. It sucks to have to write your website on your own. So much better to get tons of help and hand holding with a professional copywriter. It’s your choice: Jessica can write the first drafts or you can. Either way, together, you’ll polish the content to perfection.
- The actual WordPress website (as above).
- A custom HTML email newsletter template (as above).
- A custom blog (as above). In other words, you’ll get all the upgrades.
- One-on-one WordPress training. This way, you’ll know exactly how to make changes to your site. In person training is so much more effective for you than over the phone training.
- Planning your launch. The best way to make a spectacular splash with your new website is to plan a launch. Why not celebrate the new site with a sale or brand new product? This is a fun, easy way to make your website pay for itself quickly.
- Custom Twitter background.
- Five pre-written blog posts. There’s nothing sadder than a blog that has no content! Jessica will write five blog posts for you written with an eye towards your search engine rankings and reader success. They won’t be linkbait (eww!) but they will be awesome.
- Two pre-written newsletter issues. When you follow Jessica’s plan, you’ll be publishing a newsletter once a week. That’s a lot! To keep it from being overwhelming, Jessica will pre-write two newsletter issues for you that you can send out when you get too busy to write your own. Of course, we’re always available to write additional newsletter or blog articles for you.
- Creating your Ice Cream Sundae. Andrea Lee calls this a “Pink Spoon” because of the sample taste of ice cream many parlors give out… We call this an Ice Cream Sundae because it’s so much more than just a taste. Rather, this is a yummy introduction to who you are, a valuable treat that will get people onto your list and get them talking about you like crazy. Yum!
- Party! At the end of your week together, you and Jessica will celebrate your new website with a special treat. Throughout the whole process, Jessica will make liberal use of treats to keep you feeling inspired and at your best. (There’s nothing worse than trying to write website copy when you’re exhausted.) You’ll choose your celebration before the week begins so that you’ll know exactly which surprise you’re looking forward to.
